1. Who we are
Christmas Lighting Done 4 U (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides professionally installed LED Christmas lighting for homes and businesses in the Lake Norman, Charlotte and Lake Wylie areas: design, supply of lights, installation, in-season maintenance, takedown and storage. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, phone calls, text messages and emails, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, property address, details about your home or business and any message you send when you request a quote, book an appointment, call, text or email us.
- Your communication choices, including whether you ticked the optional consent box on our quote form, the wording shown to you, the date and time, the page you submitted from, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string. We keep this as a record of your consent choice.
- Communications, including the content of texts, emails and calls with our team or our AI assistant, and call recordings where calls are recorded (see section 6).
- Website usage information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, through analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare your quote, schedule walk-throughs, installations, maintenance visits and takedown, and provide our services.
- To communicate with you about your quote, appointments, service and billing.
- If you opted in, to send you recurring marketing and informational messages, such as seasonal booking reminders and offers.
- To keep records of your consent and opt-out choices, improve our service and website, train and supervise our team, prevent fraud and spam, and meet legal obligations.
4. Text messages, phone calls and email
If you tick the optional consent box on our website, you agree to receive recurring marketing and informational text messages, phone calls and emails from Christmas Lighting Done 4 U at the phone number and email address you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can request a quote without giving it. If you do not opt in, we will only contact you as needed to respond to your request.
Message and call frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text to stop texts, reply HELP for help, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us to stop during a call. 5. AI assistants and automated systems
Calls, texts and emails may be handled by our team or by an AI assistant acting on our behalf. Our AI assistant may answer and place calls, reply to texts and emails, collect details about your property, and help schedule appointments. Calls may use automated dialing technology, pre-recorded or artificial voice, or an AI voice. Information you share with our AI assistant is used and protected in the same way as information you share with our team, and you can ask to speak with a person at any time.
6. Call recording and monitoring
Calls with Christmas Lighting Done 4 U, including calls handled by our AI assistant, may be recorded, transcribed and monitored for quality assurance, training, scheduling accuracy and record-keeping. If you do not want a call recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will offer another way to help you.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties, except with service providers that help us deliver our messaging service (such as our CRM and messaging platform and telecommunications carriers), and only for that purpose.
We share other information only with service providers who help us run our business (for example our CRM, scheduling, email, website hosting and analytics providers), who may use it only to provide services to us; when required by law or to protect our rights and safety; or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
8. Email and unsubscribing
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe we will stop sending marketing emails to that address, although we may still send emails about an active quote, appointment or service you have with us.
9. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site, for example through Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
10. Data retention and security

Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
