How much does Christmas light installation cost in Charlotte and Lake Norman?
Our installations start at a $800 minimum. The exact price depends on the size of your home and roofline, the number of stories, how many trees, bushes and wreaths you want lit, and how complex the install is, and you get a fixed price after a free consultation. That price covers the LED lights, design, installation, season-long maintenance, takedown and storage.
Is there a minimum for Christmas light installation?
Yes. Every installation has a $800 minimum. Your exact price is set after a free consultation, based on your roofline, number of stories, trees, bushes and wreaths, and the complexity of the install.
What is included in the price?
Everything: the design, commercial-grade LED lights we supply, installation, maintenance all season, takedown in January and storage until next year. There is nothing extra to buy and nothing for you to put up or take down.
Do I need to buy the lights?
No. We supply commercial-grade LED bulbs and strands cut to fit your roofline. They are rated for outdoor winter use and are far more durable than store-bought strings, and because we store them between seasons you are not buying lights again every year.
Booking & timing
When should I book Christmas light installation?
Book as early as you can. Booking opens in September and the calendar generally fills through October, so the earlier you book the more choice you have over your install date.
When do you install Christmas lights?
Installs run from October into early December. Your exact date is set when you book, and earlier bookings get first pick of dates.
How do I get a quote?

Installation
Do you install lights I already own?
No. We only install our own commercial-grade LED lights, which we supply, maintain, take down and store. Because they are our lights, the maintenance, takedown and storage are all handled by us.
Will the installation damage my roof or gutters?
No. We use clips sized to your specific gutters, shingles and trim rather than nails or staples, and everything is removed in January. Nothing is left behind and no holes are made.
Do you design the display?
Yes. Every installation starts with a custom design for your rooflines, windows, trees, shrubs and entrances, and you approve the plan and the price before anything is ordered.
Takedown & storage
Do you take the lights down after Christmas?
Yes, takedown is included. We remove everything in January, test it, label it for your property and store it until next season, so you have no bins in the garage and nothing to put up yourself next year.
Do you store the lights between seasons?
Yes. Storage is included. Your lights are labeled for your property and stored until we install them again next season.
Lights & safety
What kind of Christmas lights do you use?
Commercial-grade LED: C9 bulbs for bold roofline outlines, C7 for smaller trim and walkways, and mini lights for trees, shrubs and railings, in warm white, cool white or multicolor.
What happens if a strand stops working mid-season?
Call us and we fix it, usually the next business day, at no extra cost. Maintenance is included in every install, and after heavy storms we proactively check displays across the affected area.
Do I have to turn the lights on and off?
No. We set timers at install so the lights come on at dusk and switch off at night automatically, all season.

What areas do you serve?
We install Christmas lights across the Lake Norman and Charlotte region, including Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Denver, Sherrills Ford, Troutman, Charlotte, Lake Wylie. If you are near the lake or in the Charlotte area, call and we will confirm.
Do you install in South Carolina?
Yes. We install in Lake Wylie, SC, including River Hills and Handsmill, on the same schedule as south Charlotte.

Do you install Christmas lights for businesses?
Yes. We install commercial Christmas lighting for storefronts, restaurants, offices, HOA entrances and other properties, scheduled around your opening hours. Businesses get the same service as homeowners: design, LED lights, installation, maintenance, takedown and storage.
Do you work with HOAs and multi-site businesses?
Yes. HOA and multi-property projects are quoted together, which brings the per-property cost down and keeps every location looking consistent.
