Christmas light installation in Foxcroft
Large wooded lots between Providence, Sharon and Fairview Roads near SouthPark.
About Foxcroft
Foxcroft fills the wedge between Providence, Sharon and Fairview Roads, just east of SouthPark. It grew up in the mid-20th century, and locals still call the older core Old Foxcroft. Lots often run over half an acre under tall hardwoods, and the original ranches are steadily giving way to larger French Provincial and Georgian rebuilds.
How we light Foxcroft homes
Big lots and tall trees mean the house can disappear in the dark. We frame it: roofline outlines for the shape, then wrapped trees across the front of the lot to give the display depth from the street.
Formal Georgian and French facades look best with restraint: warm white lights, symmetric wreaths and lit entry planters rather than a mix of colors and effects.
Design ideas that suit Foxcroft
- Symmetrical window wreaths on Georgian facades
- Warm white roofline and dormer outlines
- Wrapped trees across the front of wooded lots
- Lit planters and garland at the front entry
