Christmas light installation in Quail Hollow

About Quail Hollow

Quail Hollow Club grew out of a 1959 meeting James J. Harris held at Morrocroft Farm, on about 257 acres of dairy land that had belonged to his father-in-law, Governor Cameron Morrison. The George Cobb course opened in 1961 and was later reworked by Arnold Palmer and Tom Fazio.

The club hosted the Kemper Open through the 1970s, has hosted the PGA Tour’s Charlotte stop most years since 2003, and staged the PGA Championship in 2017 and 2025 and the Presidents Cup in 2022. Its closing stretch, holes 16 to 18, has been known as the Green Mile since a caller to a Charlotte sports-radio show named it in 2004.

The homes around the club sit on mature, landscaped lots along quiet south Charlotte streets.

How we light Quail Hollow homes

For homes near the club we design for depth: an even roofline outline, wrapped specimen trees and lit landscape beds, so the property reads as one composed scene from the street.

Long frontages need more circuits and careful cord routing. We conceal everything so you see light, never hardware.

Design ideas that suit Quail Hollow

• Warm white roofline outlines with lit dormers
• Specimen tree wraps in the front landscape
• Lit garland along entry steps and railings
• Driveway lighting for evening guests
