Christmas light installation in SouthPark
Established neighborhoods on Governor Cameron Morrison’s former Morrocroft estate.
About SouthPark
In the 1920s Governor Cameron Morrison bought 3,000 acres in south Charlotte for a dairy farm and estate he called Morrocroft. Part of that land became SouthPark, named for SouthPark Mall, which opened in February 1970 at Fairview and Sharon Roads with Belk, Ivey’s and Sears as its anchors.
Today SouthPark is one of Charlotte’s busiest business districts, ringed by established residential streets. Symphony Park, behind the mall, hosts the Charlotte Symphony’s Summer Pops concerts.
How we light SouthPark homes
SouthPark streets mix established brick homes with newer rebuilds, often with taller rooflines and more peaks. We measure every run so the outline is continuous and even, and size the design to the house rather than a package.
Many SouthPark homes host through the season. We put displays on timers, maintain them all season and come back if anything fails before a party.
Design ideas that suit SouthPark
- Full roofline outlines on multi-gable rebuilds
- Wrapped front-yard trees and lit boxwoods
- Entry garland with lit wreaths and planters
- Timers set for dusk-to-late evening entertaining
Every install includes the lights, in-season maintenance, January takedown and labeled storage. See what installation costs or our luxury and estate lighting service.
